Insurance Verifier - Full Time - Days - 8hr Badillo

The Insurance Verifier gathers complete and accurate data for the pre-registration and verification process of insurance coverage for all pre-admits, in-patients, scheduled out patients, current and discharged, to ensure the patient account is ready for billing and collections per hospital and department policy and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous insurance verification experience
• Admission/registration experience or previous business office experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Computer literacy
• Excellent customer service skills
