Job Description
Emburse is a rapidly growing travel and expense solutions company seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to bridge the gap between software development and quality assurance. The SDET will design, implement automated testing frameworks, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of Emburse applications. They're focused on transforming how organizations manage corporate expenses and invoices to help CFO’s give employees a fantastic experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
- 4+ years of Testing/Quality Engineering experience in software domain
- Broad knowledge of Computer Science concepts and technologies
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile and DevOps environment
- Experience designing and implementing automated tests using tools such as Pytest, Selenium, or similar tools
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages and concepts (Python, Java, etc..) and comfortable with SQL
- Exposure to RESTful APIs and experience with Postman or other equivalent tools
- Some experience with load/performance testing and tools
- Experience with front-end and back-end automation frameworks (Selenium, QA Robot, Playwright, Pytest, RestAssured, etc...) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab/Github)
- Comfortable with load/performance testing and tools and available to tackle opportunities without external direction
