Requirements

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract that demonstrates good driving skills
• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries (preferred)
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial vehicles subject to Provincial Ministry of Transportation regulations
• Understanding of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle
• Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
• Ability to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, or emergency situations
• Ability to learn and operate material handling equipment
