Job Description
EMCS, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer to join their growing team in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is a dual role offering field work during the construction season and focus on transportation design for the remainder of the year. The company is a leading civil engineering firm serving public and private clients.
Requirements
- AS or BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Previous professional or internship experience in the civil engineering field
- DOT roadway/bridge construction inspection experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads a plus
- WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program credentials, or ability to obtain certification
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
