Volleyball Referees

Emerald Youth Foundation is seeking part-time volleyball referees to work with middle school and rec league teams in Knoxville, Tennessee. Referees will be responsible for starting games, timing warm-ups, and ensuring safe play. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Start games with a coin toss
• Time each team's warm up
• Meet with line judges to review signals
• Check team line ups
• Orchestrate the game in a fair manner
• Sign the scoresheet at the end of each match
• Monitor safe play throughout the match
• Assist in the tear down of net systems if ref the last game of the evening
