Assembly Operator

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at Emerson in Sandusky, MI. The role involves assembling basic valves and associated product with given supplied components to meet customer specifications.

Requirements

• General assembly processing procedures according to blueprint and SOP standards.
• Basic blueprint reading and understanding of BOM’s and Routers.
• Tests and calibrates components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble product according to product specifications.
• Identifies product that fail tests or tolerance levels and may repair as necessary.
• Perform changeover of tools, fixtures and test setups.
• Reports to Assembly Supervisor and has contact with internal customers and co-workers.
• Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and / or notify supervisor.
