CNC Operator

Role Overview

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC equipment to cut, shape, form, or grind metal workpieces according to production requirements. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Operate CNC machines and related equipment, maintain equipment, load and position materials, review work order documentation, make tooling offsets, interpret work instructions, perform quality checks, and identify and report machine malfunctions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will need to have a high school diploma or GED, ability to add, subtract, and convert decimals and fractions, outstanding attendance, and excellent collaboration skills. Preferred qualifications include basic understanding of CNC operations, tooling, and measuring instruments, strong mechanical proficiency, safety mentality, quality, communication, and efficiency.
