Job Description
Emerson is seeking a Data Architect with Snowflake experience to support the realization of Emerson's Data and Digitalization Strategy. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing data & integration architecture direction, collaborating with technical stakeholders, and supporting IT projects. The role involves designing end-to-end Snowflake data solutions, defining best practices for Snowflake architecture, and integrating data from diverse sources into the Snowflake environment.
Requirements
- Architect and design end-to-end Snowflake data solutions
- Define and implement best practices for Snowflake architecture
- Design and oversee data integration pipelines using modern ETL/ELT tools
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Integrate data from diverse sources into the Snowflake environment
- Implement and maintain data governance, lineage, and metadata management
- Monitor and optimize query performance, storage, and compute resources
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data models, data flows, and architectural decisions
