Electronics Technician

Electronics Technician responsible for building prototypes, setting up and conducting tests on electronic assemblies or components, and conducting basic repairs, troubleshooting and routine maintenance of electrical lab test equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, or High school and 3+ years of relevant electrical/electronic work experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and regulations
• Experience with laboratory test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies, data acquisition equipment (e.g. data loggers)
• Experience with hand soldering through-hole and SMT components
• Experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Knowledge of programming languages like LabVIEW or C/C++
• Experience with practical problem solving and root cause analysis
• Ability to perform basic electrical calculations for equipment and test setup, test validation, troubleshooting, and repair purposes
• Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Cellular technology
• Experience with PCB layout software and SMT equipment: Print, Pick/Place, Reflow oven
