Electronics Technician responsible for building prototypes, setting up and conducting tests on electronic assemblies or components, and conducting basic repairs, troubleshooting and routine maintenance of electrical lab test equipment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, or High school and 3+ years of relevant electrical/electronic work experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and regulations
- Experience with laboratory test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies, data acquisition equipment (e.g. data loggers)
- Experience with hand soldering through-hole and SMT components
- Experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Knowledge of programming languages like LabVIEW or C/C++
- Experience with practical problem solving and root cause analysis
- Ability to perform basic electrical calculations for equipment and test setup, test validation, troubleshooting, and repair purposes
- Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Cellular technology
- Experience with PCB layout software and SMT equipment: Print, Pick/Place, Reflow oven
