Engineering Technician role providing engineering support to the manufacturing department for day-to-day operations, maintaining manufacturing engineering drawing files, and designing and obtaining needed fixtures.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or 2 years of experience
- Minimum 2 years of related engineering or technical experience in a manufacturing or related industry
- CAD design experience
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining and assembly operations
- Good understanding of computer-aided drawing software (AutoCAD and LaserMark is preferred), blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of components
- Ability to work in a hands-on fast-paced environment
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
- Ability to respond and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Basic digital literacy
- Ability to be highly organized
- Extremely diligent, with good communication skills and customer service, and ability to multitask
