Principal Software Engineer

National Instruments Corporation is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for its offices in Austin, TX. The role involves leading the development of systems/components and features through release, prioritizing tasks for the team, and mentoring other software engineers. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, and 5 years of experience in software development or software engineering, including experience with high-level programming languages and graphical programming language or LabVIEW.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software development or software engineering occupation
• Experience with high-level programming languages (C/C++, C#)
• Experience with graphical programming language or LabVIEW
