Senior Product Development Engineer - High Performance Butterfly Valves

Emerson is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer for its High Performance Butterfly Valve product line. The successful candidate will lead technology development and design ownership of the product line, interpreting industry standards and creating innovative designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline
• 5+ years of related work experience in a product design or development role
• Demonstrated competency of engineering fundamentals & mechanical systems
• Solid modeling knowledge and experience using Solid Works 3D/Creo/Inventor or similar modelling software
• Proficient in engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience operating within Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems
• Demonstrated strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal
• Well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
