Trade Journeyperson Welder | Hope

Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM) is seeking a Trade Journeyperson Welder to join their team in Hope, B.C. As a Trade Journeyperson Welder, you will work closely with maintenance and operations teams to perform high-quality welding and fabrication on EAM's heavy fleet and attachments.

Requirements

• Valid Canadian (BC) class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement as well as a clean abstract.
• Completion of a registered apprenticeship in the respective trade, or equivalent training and work experience to the full apprenticeship term.
• Completion of apprenticeship and/or Red Seal certification considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others; strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated ability to assist apprentices in learning and developing skills.
• Physically fit; able to perform labour‐intensive tasks and lift as required.
• Mentally alert and safety‐conscious, with a commitment to safe work practices.
