Job Description
The Junior Legal Counsel role involves providing legal and practical advice on UAE laws and legal issues, maintaining and exercising rights of audience in UAE courts, and assisting with procuring EGA Group permits and licenses.
Requirements
- UAE Law degree from a recognized law school
- Licensed by the Ministry of Justice in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi to appear in court and represent EGA
- Accreditation with either the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, or an equivalent body
- Up to 2 years of experience of appearing in the UAE courts to argue and defend claims across a range of work
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience of working on general matters in a law firm or in house legal department
