Senior Product Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to lead FEM-based product optimization projects and develop simulation strategies across the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in FEM, ideally within consumer product development or soft materials.
• Advanced proficiency in FEA tools such as Abaqus, HyperMesh, Solid Edge; scripting experience (Python, MATLAB) is a plus.
• Strong background in complex FEM analyses: non-linear, transient, fatigue, thermomechanical.
• Familiarity with soft materials like foam, elastomers, plastics, and gels – especially in the context of sleep products.
• Solid understanding of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and related quality and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent analytical skills and a high level of autonomy and initiative.
• Strong communication skills – able to convey technical insights clearly and persuasively.
• Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus, German is beneficial.
