Senior Platform Engineer - Kafka (d/f/m)

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of Kafka clusters and their supporting infrastructure, improving developer experience and scalability. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining the company's multi-region, highly available, and performant Kafka infrastructure, as well as collaborating with product teams to implement new infrastructure and services.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with managed and self-hosted Kafka services (streams, broker, connect).
• Good experience with managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS) with emphasis on performance and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo suite).
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting, observability (metrics, logs, traces), and performance tuning.
