Hospital Medicine Faculty Position – Grady Memorial Hospital

Emory University is seeking an inpatient Hospital Medicine faculty physician for Grady Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will devote between 1% and 25% of their time to scholarly activities, 1% to 25% to teaching, and over 75% to professional service.

Requirements

• history and physical examinations of patients being admitted to the hospital
• assessing the acuity of hospitalized patients and ensuring a proper level of care
• bedside procedures as needed and credentialed for
• consultations services for specialty provider partners
• order consultations from specialty provider partners
• initiating contact with primary care providers and teams in the outpatient setting in order to ensure appropriate continuity of care
