Job Description
Empire and Co. is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support the Residential and Hospitality Division in a remote capacity. The role is responsible for procuring furniture, accessories, and related materials to ensure projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Requirements
- Two or more years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
