PLANT CONTROLLER I

The plant controller position functions as a business partner with plant and financial management to effectively manage and control the local business. Leads the financial staff at the plant and is accountable for plant-level responsibilities including general accounting, payables, order entry billing, cost accounting, bull of materials, business analysis, financial reporting, sales management, and computer operations.

Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting or Business Administration
• 5-10 years as plant controller or cost manager in a manufacturing environment, managing a staff, with an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis
• High level of proficiency of PC spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use various databases and applications independently
• Ability to comprehend the implications of process, policies and regulations, against requirements
