We are seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR to effectively manage assigned personnel, ensure optimal performance, and lead through effective goal setting, communication, and coaching. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of all positions on assigned production lines and be able to motivate, correct, and challenge personnel with a positive approach.

- Ensure lead associates properly use personnel team and follow work standards to product a defect-free product
- Ensure work teams are fully staffed to maintain targeted workflow
- Ensure lead associates provide work teams the tools and supplies needed to accomplish standard work
- Make sure all production change-overs are performed properly and efficiently
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on machines
- Communicate to the maintenance team problems with machines
- Assist in production scheduling to improve production leveling
- Ensure area of responsibility has been properly cleaned and sanitized
- Assure compliance with all company safety rules and GMP's
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used correctly
- Ensure areas are clear of safety hazards, floors are free of product, and equipment is free of excess product
- Assume responsibility for production quality and continuous improvement
- Ensure products are produced to customer specification and defect free
- Ensure work teams follow standard work practices to promote improved product efficiency and achieve production targets
- Ensure employees are properly trained on standard work practices and perform job tasks as defined
- Ensure production flow is consistent, throughput is monitored, and efficiency targets are met
- Ensure trainers train on proper work standards, maintain all proper documentation and Quality personnel are in their assigned areas monitoring product for defects
- Ensure transfer of finished product from production floor to storage area is performed within standard operating procedure
- Assume responsibility for production related communication flow and coordination between line workers
- Communicate problems with Quality Assurance Manager, Production Manager, and Plant Manager as needed
- Takes a leading role in communicating among per groups and subordinates
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately
- Verify demand schedule and usage sheets are all filled out
- Completes and verifies all activity logs are completed
- Ensure all documentation is routed correctly
