Job Description
The Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE) is seeking a 2nd shift Loading Dock Supervisor for J Polep Distribution Services in Chicopee, MA. This role involves leading a fast-paced dock operation, ensuring safe loading and unloading of products, providing training, and contributing to a positive team environment. The position starts at 3 pm and is a 2nd shift, working Sunday through Thursday.
Requirements
- Follow and promote all safety initiatives
- Ensure work is performed according to J Polep procedures
- Mentor, coach, train, and cross-train employees
- Directly supervise all activities of dockworkers and support personnel
- Coordinate work assignments and monitor performance
- Assist in loading and unloading trailers
- Read and communicate in English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish (a plus)
