The Flexo Press Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and changeover of a flexographic printing press.

Requirements

Set up the flexo press accurately and within the scheduled time.
Operate the press at or above the required speed while maintaining high-quality output.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Identify, analyze, and correct print defects during operation.
Mix, match, and evaluate ink quality prior to and during production runs.
Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and job specifications.
Monitor and record waste data throughout the shift.
Guide the crew on when product should be approved or rejected.
Manage all pallet samples and ensure proper documentation.
Complete all production and quality forms accurately and submit them at shift end.
Follow proper procedures for ERP system entries related to press operations.
Enforce safety practices and ensure crew compliance with safety policies.
Communicate scheduled breaks and any anticipated overtime to the team.
Train crew members when time permits.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
