Job Description
Empowerly is an education technology company that personalizes college and career counseling. We are seeking a BS/MD College Admissions Counselor to help high school students navigate the college admissions process.
Requirements
- Graduate from a top 50 national university
- Degree in STEM, MD, or deep expertise in the field
- Experience as a college counselor for high school students
- Consistent availability in the afternoons (after 3:00 p.m.) and/or on weekends to meet with students
- Passion for education, talent for teaching, essay writing, and essay editing
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan around and meet deadlines
- Dedication to client service
- Ability to commit to students for multi-year packages
