Clinical Research Nurse

We are recruiting Clinical Research Nurses to work on a ground-breaking clinical trial, the BEST4 Screening Study, which aims to determine whether the Capsule Sponge test can be used to determine early diagnosis of cancer of the oesophagus. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinics on the BEST4 mobile unit, promoting a welcoming environment for participants, and completing the Capsule Sponge test on participants.

Requirements

• Registered nurse (NMC Registration)
• Continued CPD
• Previous research experience or Upper GI experience
• Significant post-registration clinical experience
• Experience in performing nurse-led clinics.
• A good understanding of clinical research
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Ability to work accurately and methodically with excellent attention to detail.
• A team player, whilst possessing ability to work independently and on their own initiative.
• High level of organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent IT knowledge / skills and proficient in MS Office Software.
• Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
• Willing to travel and complete overnight stays as required.
• Motivated and enthusiastic
