DevOps Engineer

Encore is a leader in Technical Staff augmentation and direct placement services. The Company Engineering team is searching for a DevOps Engineer who is talented, well-versed in DevOps technologies, automation, infrastructure orchestration, configuration management, and continuous integration.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2+ years of Experience building highly available, scalable cloud-based platform and infrastructure for cloud
• Strong knowledge of Programming language: JavaScript, GO, Python, Java, C#
• Strong knowledge of Scripting language: Shell, Groovy, Python, Perl, PowerShell
• SCM: TFS, Git, Subversion
• Tools - JIRA, Puppet, Ansible, VMWare (Must), Vagrant, AWS, Docker, Octopus, TeamCity, Chef, Jenkins, Bamboo, New Relic, Nagios, Gradle, Splunk
• Experience managing automated builds and deployments
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience in Linux server administration with RedHat, CentOS, Debian, or Ubuntu
• Experience in Windows server administration a plus
• Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Expert in Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, and other SW development tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
