Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer

We are seeking a Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer to represent ENERCON at a customer site in Oak Ridge, TN. The successful candidate will provide technical advice and perform technical functions as directed by Supervisor, Line Management, Project Engineer or Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or other field with relevant Nuclear Facility Safety Analyst experience
• Current L or Q Clearance (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
• At least 10 years or DOE nuclear experience
• At least five years of experience in the development, maintenance, and use of (compliance with) DOE 10CFR830 safety basis documentation
• Successfully completed the two or three-day DOE USQD training
• Experience performing Nuclear Facility Safety in support of Decommissioning and Demolition activities at DOE facilities
• Functional with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook software
• Qualify as a Senior Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) Engineer Analyst per the UCOR NCS Engineering Qualification Program
• Maintain qualifications for Senior NCS Engineer Safety Analyst
