Control Design Engineer

We are seeking a Control Design Engineer with a good understanding of control systems for Gas, Steam and Hydro turbines. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and building new control and servo systems for gas, steam, hydro-turbines applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technically related subject
• Programming and developing software for PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens are preferable)
• Understanding of basic control principles and control system design philosophy
• Knowledge of international standards regarding automation control system design
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and interface (Ethernet IP, DeviceNet, CanOpen, Modbus RTU/TCP, etc)
• Skills in industrial signal processing – 4-20 mA loops, F/V, etc.
• Understanding work principals of field instrumentation – pressure, temperature, speed, flow sensors and transmitters; servomotors, etc.
