Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer to work on-site in London, UK. The successful candidate will have experience in full end-to-end network support of global multi-nationals, with expertise in MPLS, VPLS, and VPN environments.

Requirements

• Professional experience in the IT industry, specifically with full end-to-end network support of global multi-nationals
• Familiarity with supporting and troubleshooting in MPLS, VPLS, and VPN environments
• Broad knowledge of network technologies and carrier services
• Load balancing technologies and application delivery controllers
• Wireless installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Riverbed (Steelhead, SCC, etc) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Cisco IOS based switching platforms (6500, 4500, 3800, 3900)
• Spanning tree and VLAN configuration and troubleshooting
• Security knowledge and hands-on Firewall experience
• Routing protocol experience (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, static routing)
• Effective inter-personal communication and documentation skills
• Experience working in a global environment and supporting clients in a 24/7 environment
