Software Engineer II, Devices

Join the Devices Team at EnergyHub to create and lifecycle of IoT devices for a carbon-free distributed energy future. As a Software Engineer II, you will design and implement core platform features, support the transition to a microservices-based approach, and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 11+) and experience with at least one scripting language
• Experience with web services, gRPC/RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development
• Ability to operate independently with little supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of balancing multiple use cases while enabling flexibility
