Machinist – CNC 3 personnel can machine precision components on a manual or CNC machine with no direct supervision. Position requires the ability to perform a variety of machining duties with a high degree of skill and proficiency.
Requirements
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines at a very high level of proficiency
- Set up and thread “all threads and grades of material” that the Facility is licensed for on a CNC lathe, with no assistance on setup and first article inspection
- Perform necessary mathematical calculations to produce angles
- Understand products, read and interpret prints, dimension, and tolerances, and can produce parts from drawings
- Help train Machinists at CNC 1 and CNC 2 levels
