EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. We are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified leads, initiate contact with prospective customers, and support the commercial pipeline development efforts of the sales team.
Requirements
- Generate qualified leads through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule introductory meetings for the sales team
- Research target industries, companies, and buyer personas to guide prospecting efforts
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities in the CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and support campaigns
- Understand and communicate the basic value proposition of EnerSys solutions across target sectors
- Track outreach KPIs and prepare activity summaries for weekly or monthly reporting
- Continuously build knowledge of EnerSys offerings, including batteries, power systems, and energy storage
