Buyer II

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. The Buyer II role involves performing purchasing duties for raw materials, including inventory control and quality assurance, at the Warrensburg plant. The successful candidate will oversee other buyers/planners, interface with Corporate Procurement, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Associates degree or higher
• 3-5 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Product knowledge, including source, quality, and logistics
• Basic math and use of 10 key calculator
• Verbal and written skills in English
• Ability to associate cause and effect relationships and determine patterns of activity
• Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, MS Power Point, MS Word, E-mail, and ERP System
