Business Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our business intelligence tools. The role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization. The successful candidate will work on designing and developing data models, developing and maintaining data flows, and optimizing data queries and processing workflows.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience in Visualization or Data Consuming
• Knowledge with Data Visualization Tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools
• Understanding of data flow modelling, ETL, datalakes, and cloud-based solution development standards
• Understanding of data architecture principles and how these can be practically applied within a similar organization
• Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques
• Experience with SQL database and Power BI DAX context
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python and Spark)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Continuous learning and desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field
• Business acumen and ability to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
