Engelhart is seeking a Power & Gas Valuations Analyst to join its Global Middle Office team in Houston. The role will support the P&L analysis team by maintaining data foundation used for portfolio analytics and reporting, and providing valuation support for complex OTC and structured energy transactions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy trading, quantitative analytics, derivatives valuation, or structuring within power and gas markets.
- Demonstrable understanding of option pricing and risk sensitivities, including Greeks and valuation of complex option products.
- Experience supporting trading or P&L teams with valuation models and quantitative analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experienced with managing databases and implementing monitoring or alert systems to ensure data integrity.
- Knowledge of power and natural gas markets and familiarity with forward curve and optionality in energy portfolios.
