Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Algorithmic Trader to lead the development and execution of automated trading strategies within our short-term power markets division. This role is central to our transition toward a fully automated, data-driven trading floor, focusing on the optimization of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Renewable Energy Sources (RES)
Requirements
- 5+ years of working experience
- Masterâs/PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and software development practices, including version control (Git) and database architecture (SQL)
- Strong experience in data analytics and applied Machine Learning, including relevant Python libraries
- European power markets knowledge is considered an advantage
