- Market and competition analysis
- Follow market trends and analyze competition landscapes to identify opportunities and threats
- Present current datasets to the Business Area and Country Management
- Identify and follow relevant business opportunities
- Account and business planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry associations
- Develop account plans for key clients with support from Business Stream and Key Account Manager
- Bring client relationships into focus and follow engagement opportunities at various organizational levels
- Develop and implement business development strategies
- Prepare engineering teams for targeted client meetings
- Facilitate workshops and client meetings
- Expand Tractebel's network and stimulate strategic partnerships
- End-to-end development of major opportunities
- Develop and manage plans for significant business opportunities
- Prepare strategic messages for executive audiences
- Participate in the preparation of offers and budgets
- Stimulate innovation and anticipate client needs and technological evolution
- Brand visibility
- Manage business development budgets for the Netherlands
- Ensure visibility, thought leadership, and reputation of Tractebel through participation in industry associations
