Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at ENGIE in Zwolle, Netherlands. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a lakehouse platform, developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, and modeling data according to Kimball, Data Vault, and modern lakehouse principles. You will work with diverse energy domains, including consumption data, market information, smart meters, and asset data. You will also contribute to data quality, lineage, monitoring, and documentation, as well as actively share knowledge and contribute to the professionalization of our data workflow.
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain a lakehouse platform
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines according to the medaillon architecture
- Model data according to Kimball, Data Vault, and modern lakehouse principles
- Integrate data from diverse energy domains
- Contribute to data quality, lineage, monitoring, and documentation
