EHS Officer is responsible for advising on-site team to discharge their statutory duties under the WSH Act, conducting risk assessments, and implementing EHS management system documents.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Occupational Health, Occupational Hygiene, Ergonomics, Psychology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other topics relevant to Occupational Safety and Health;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant trade for EHS Officer role;
- Successfully completed a course in relation to WSH Officer (i.e. Safety Officer Training Course);
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM;
- Possess internal auditing skill on ISO 14001 & ISO 45001;
- Detailed understanding and knowledge on WSH Act, environmental & other legal requirements;
- Able to organize and carry out EHS-related trainings;
- Able to establish and maintain a system of records and quality related documentation;
- Able to attain all the necessary permits and licenses;
- Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure;
- Possess a high level of initiative and integrity;
- Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills;
- Good communication skills both verbal and written;
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour;
