Electrician I

As an Electrician I at Ohio State University, you will install, operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair utility low, medium, and high voltage electric utility plant, generation, and distribution systems. You will assist with preventive maintenance, upgrades, and inspections of electrical utilities equipment and perform repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, and installations of electrical systems and equipment up to 600V class.

Requirements

• 5 years’ work experience as a commercial/ industrial electrician
• Experience in installation and maintenance of 600V class electrical systems
• Knowledge of basic principles of electricity and related terminology
