As a Facilities Engineer at ENGIE North America, you will be responsible for the safe, legal, reliable and cost-efficient operation and maintenance of the campus utility production and distribution systems of heating/hot water, steam, chilled water, condensate, and domestic water.
Requirements
- Maintain a safe, comfortable campus environment by operating, controlling and performing preventive/predictive maintenance on the HVACR, Electrical, Mechanical, and Life Safety building systems 24/7
- Respond to emergency situations such as flood, smoke, fire, inclement weather
- Develop and maintain proficiency in the operation of automated building management systems, controls, pumps, heat exchangers, water treatment, cooling towers, boilers, fire alarm, sprinkler, emergency generator, elevator, and various other mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems and equipment associated with the operation of large buildings
- Assist with overall regulatory and code compliance of all building systems as required by law and local jurisdictions.
- Test and maintain water chemistry for HVAC, steam and hot water systems
- Be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to replace and repair non-operational parts.
- Schedule preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates at optimum performance
- Review operational manuals, technical manuals, and system procedures
