Job Description
The Intern, Utility Performance Data Analytics position at ENGIE North America involves querying utility process data, designing and deploying custom dashboards, and assisting with reporting and data analysis. The role requires a degree in Business Analytics, Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. This is a daily on-site position at the Energy Control Center on the University of Iowa campus, with a minimum of up to 40 hours per week for the summer session.
Requirements
- Current enrollment at the University of Iowa pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Informatics, Computer Science or related field
- Coursework or hands-on experience in data visualization, relational databases, or other database technologies
- Eagerness to learn the PI System Software Suite and apply it in a professional setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts
- A collaborative mindset, strong curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a professional, team-based environment
