Slitter Operator - 2nd shift

The Slitter Set up person is responsible for working with the Lead Operator and the Apprentice as a team to maintain the safety of the area, meet the required production and quality requirements for the slit material.

Requirements

• Review operation schedule and work with the operator planning the day/shift.
• Set-up the off-line head for the next available job on the schedule.
• Switch heads when the job is completed on the on-line head with the off-line head set-up for the next job.
• Inspect and release slit material
• Use hand-held measuring instruments (Micrometer and Vernier), core cutter, camber bar, and other equipment as needed.
