Network Engineer

Engineers Gate (EG) is a leading investment manager seeking a Network Engineer to lead network projects, including counterparty integrations, new office buildouts, and ongoing network initiatives. The role is designed for an experienced, collaborative professional looking for a growth opportunity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in a network and/or network security role
• Strong expertise in traditional networking — routing, switching, and firewall systems
• Proficiency in scripting and/or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
• Working knowledge of security best practices and controls
• Superb communication and strong project management skills
• Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly
• Familiarity with public cloud environments, particularly AWS
