Job Description
We are seeking a CEI Inspector to provide field observation, testing, and measurement services during the construction phase of a project. The role involves working within a team, observing the contractor's work, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. This position requires heavy field work in challenging weather conditions and is primarily night and weekend hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two (2) years of related construction inspection experience (1 year bridging & roadway)
- Understanding of FDOT construction project administration methods
- CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
