Senior Engineer, PCB

Join Enphase Energy as a Senior PCB Designer to design and develop next-gen energy technologies and drive a sustainable future. The role involves designing PCBs, maintaining and updating design documents, and mentoring other designers. 5+ years of PCB design experience is required, along with familiarity with Cadence Allegro and Orcad packages, and experience designing complex boards. Fluency in at least one design tool environment is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have knowledge about manufacturing limitations and design for low cost and high-volume design, and will be familiar with UL / IEC Safety Standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years PCB design experience
• Familiarity with Cadence Allegro and Orcad packages
• Fluent in at least one design tool environment (Allegro, Altium etc)
• Experience designing complex, high power, high-speed boards (4-6 layers)
• Understanding of PCB layout on EMC performance
• Knowledge about manufacturing limitations and design for low cost and high-volume design
• Design with Constraint Manager
• IPC Designer Certification CID & CID+ (or equivalent) preferred
• Familiar with UL / IEC Safety Standards
• Power and Signal Integrity analysis, simulation tools
• DFM, DFA, DFT
• Thermal management techniques
• ISO Quality process knowledge
• ECAD to MCAD interface transfer
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication process and Assembly
• SVN, PLM/Arena/Product Data Management (PDM) Tools based release, change order and PCB lifecycle processes
