Job Description
Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for all patients receiving services at Ensemble Health Partners. The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and an associate degree or equivalent. They will be responsible for training, scheduling, and other senior-level responsibilities while meeting the mission of Ensemble Health Partners and all regulatory compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Perform admitting duties for all patients receiving services at Ensemble Health Partners
- Train and schedule staff within the patient access department
- Develop training materials and programs for new hires
- Conduct audits of accounts and assure that all forms are completed accurate, timely to meet audit standards
- Collect point of service payments
- Explains general consent for treatment forms to the patient/guarantor/legal guardian
- Reviews eligibility responses in insurance verification system
- Screens medical necessity using the Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) software
