Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems. As a Senior Patient Access Specialist, you will perform admitting duties, train staff, and provide excellent customer service. This full-time on-site role is located at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH. Requirements
- Perform admitting duties for all patients receiving services at Ensemble Health Partners
- Train new staff and provide continuing education to associates in the revenue cycle
- Develop staff schedules within the patient access department
- Provide on-call support and guidance to the department
- Collect point of service payments and conduct audits of accounts
- Explain consent forms to patients and obtain necessary signatures
- Review eligibility responses and select applicable insurance plan codes
- Screen medical necessity using the Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) software
