Job Description
This is a full-time, onsite position for a Lead Steel Estimator within a commercial/industrial project setting. The role involves estimating various structural steel fabrication work, consulting with shop personnel, and managing projects from start to finish. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in the steel industry
- Understanding of TEKLA, BlueBeam, and similar software packages
- 5 or more years of knowledge in procurement and vendor coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Estimating software (Bluebeam, OST, etc.)
