Development Engineer

Development Engineer role for Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company, reporting to Product Development Engineering Lead. Responsible for technical lead on internal and external projects, development and maintenance of technical data package, creation of 3D conceptual models, and coordination with other departments to ensure production viability of new designs.

Requirements

• BS/MS in engineering discipline
• Proven leadership of technical teams
• Strong time and task management skills
• Ability to evaluate, understand, and apply customer requirements and government/military specifications to design
• Demonstrated experience generating 3D models & 2D drawings
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills for interaction with various levels of management and customers
• Ability to adapt to project changes and overcome technical challenges
• Demonstrated competency in problem solving and root cause analysis
• Must have or be able to obtain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
