The Chief Inspector reports directly to the Construction Manager and is responsible for supervising all phases of field quality assurance/control and technical staff assigned to the project.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the pipeline and construction industry
- Minimum of five years experience in all phases of pipeline construction quality assurance/control
- API 1169 Certification (strongly preferred and often required)
- Proven judgment and decision-making skills
- Understanding of design requirements related to regulatory codes that govern construction of transmission pipelines and related facilities
- Understanding of preventative or counter measures available to minimize the environmental impacts of construction activities
